NEET UG 2025 Registration
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to remove the optional questions in Section B of the NEET 2025 exam. This means that the NEET exam will return to its original format, similar to how it was conducted before the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result, candidates will no longer have the option to choose additional questions, nor will they be given extra time that was previously allowed during the COVID-19 period. The exam will follow its pre-COVID structure.

The optional section, which was introduced in response to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, has been in place until 2024. However, for NEET 2025, this temporary measure will be removed. The exam will now consist of 180 mandatory questions: 90 questions from Biology and 45 questions each from Chemistry and Physics. Candidates will have a total of 180 minutes (3 hours) to complete the entire paper. The format will return to the pre-COVID structure, with no extra time or optional questions.
