On 27th June 2025, the Rajasthan government published the official notification stating that guest faculty will be recruited under the Vidya Sambal Yojana for the academic session 2025–26. The objective is to fill vacant teaching positions and maintain the flow of education in Rajesh colleges and regular state government colleges.
The application process for guest faculty positions will begin on 2nd July 2025 and continue until 7th July 2025. A scrutiny panel will verify the applications and finalize the merit panel by 12th July 2025. Colleges will call selected candidates for engagement as per institutional requirements.

Eligibility Criteria for Guest Faculty under Vidya Sambal Yojana
Candidates applying for Assistant Professor positions under this scheme must meet specific academic qualifications and experience standards. Preference will be given to candidates domiciled in Rajasthan.

Honorarium and Work Structure
- Remuneration: ₹800 per lecture
- Maximum Hours: 14 hours per week
- Engagement Period: Until completion of semester exams, syllabus completion, or university directives—whichever is earlier.
- Payment Structure: Faculty will be paid after completion of every 50 lectures based on actual teaching hours.
Guest faculty will only be involved in teaching work. No administrative or non-teaching responsibilities will be assigned.
