Rajasthan Shivira Panchang 2025-26: The Directorate of Secondary Education, Bikaner has officially released the Rajasthan Shivira Panchang 2025-26, a comprehensive academic calendar applicable to all government, non-government, residential, special training, and teacher training schools in Rajasthan. The new academic session will begin on July 1, 2025, and continue till June 30, 2026. According to this calendar, schools will operate for 235 working days, with 130 holidays scheduled throughout the year.
Academic Session 2025-26 Begins July 1, 2025
The Rajasthan school academic session 2025-26 commences from 1st July 2025. All schools in the state are mandated to begin regular teaching and student attendance from this date. The first phase of the Admission Festival (Pravesh Utsav) will run from July 1 to July 16, during which admission forms for various classes will be filled.
For Classes 9 to 12, the last date for student admission is set as July 31, 2025.

Admission Age Criteria for Class 1
As per the latest guidelines, a child must be at least 6 years old and less than 7 years to be eligible for admission into Class 1. While the state may notify a fixed date for admissions, Right to Education Act (RTE) 2009 allows admission throughout the year.
